About The Position
Provides leadership and oversees day-to-day maintenance of facilities and equipment to minimize disruption to plant operations. The role supervises the building and equipment services department, supports equipment maintenance and repair, and promotes safe working conditions. The position requires at least three years of relevant experience, English and Spanish fluency, and strong technical knowledge of building and support equipment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate’s degree in a technical field and prior leadership experience are preferred.
Requirements

- Strong technical knowledge of building and support equipment.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain a clean, safe work area.
- Ability to multitask and handle or lead multiple tasks at once.
- Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, OSHA, and environmental regulations and compliance.
- Ability to read blueprints and maintenance technical bulletins.

Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day building and equipment services operations, including comprehensive maintenance and repair of equipment.
- Inform management of problems with building equipment.
- Partner with local utility representatives to monitor building-system energy efficiency.
- Establish and maintain a preventative maintenance program.
- Analyze equipment and component failure trends to develop a cost-effective maintenance schedule.
- Administer training to ensure proper operation and adherence to preventive maintenance and repair procedures.
- Promote safe working conditions through housekeeping and ensure safety practices are followed.
- Perform other duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
