About The Position

This Maintenance Supervisor leadership role is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations within an agricultural oils and transloading facility, ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and a safe working environment. The position provides hands-on leadership for equipment installations, overhauls, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs while guiding maintenance team activities and project execution. Responsibilities include diagnosing complex equipment issues, driving continuous improvement initiatives, interpreting technical documentation, and maintaining computerized preventive maintenance programs. The role plays a critical part in supporting production goals through predictive maintenance practices, equipment uptime, and a strong commitment to safety excellence. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 5+ years’ relevant experience required
  • Has advanced and specialized expertise, typically developed through a combination of job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience
  • Works autonomously within established procedures and practices

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on leadership of installations and overhauls of equipment, and in routine and emergency maintenance and repairs.
  • Diagnose complex maintenance issues with a focus on continuous improvement, providing input and recommendations.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints and work orders to lead team in appropriate actions regarding maintenance and service.
  • Perform and ensure that regular preventive maintenance is complete and on-schedule, ensure that computerized preventative maintenance system is maintained according to standards.
  • Maintain current and in-depth knowledge of all safety policies and standards and act in a lead role to exemplify.
  • Work in a safe manner and recognizes unsafe situations, takes appropriate action to ensure safety of themselves and others in building.
