About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a hands-on Facilities Aesthetic Supervisor for the 2nd shift at the Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center. This role involves completing service work and repairs, overseeing the workload of maintenance technicians, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of work performed. The supervisor will also assist with training, motivating, and supporting the maintenance team, and will be responsible for the correct use of office equipment, EMS systems, and Life Safety Systems.

Requirements

• Two years’ experience in maintenance in hotels, hospitals, buildings, apartments, or other similar industry required.
• Strong computer skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook.
• Must have experience in most of and preferably all of the following: Wallpaper and vinyl repair, Repair and paint drywall, wood, metal, and other surfaces using rollers and brushes, Refinishing woodwork requiring staining, varnishing, and lacquering, Repair tile and grout.
• Texas Driver’s License with good driving record required.
• Must be 21+ years old due to vehicle insurance requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Vocational or technical training is preferred.
• One year of experience in supervising or leading a team is preferred.
• Microsoft Word, Excel and Teams are desirable.
• Knowledge and use of a Service Ticketing system preferred.
• HotSOS experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Completes maintenance requests submitted by guests or employees for general maintenance issues within the hotel.
• Completes preventive maintenance on aesthetic finishes throughout the hotel.
• Supervises Maintenance Tech ensuring that the team is working efficiently and producing high quality results.
• Conducts inspections of work performed.
• Assists with training, motivating and supporting Maintenance Techs.
• Assists with performance management of Maintenance techs by providing both positive and corrective feedback, recognizing the team with Employee of the Month and on-the-spot recognition, and recommending coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Responsible for correct use of office equipment, EMS systems and Life Safety Systems (training will be provided).
