About The Position

As a CBRE Maintenance Sr. Technician, you will maintain medium- to large-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function and provides support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. The position works within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines, and impacts the quality of its own work. It requires exchanging straightforward information, asking questions, and checking for understanding.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2–3 years of job-related experience; a combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of a diploma.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, and lifting or carrying loads of 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Organizational skills and a strong inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
