About The Position

As a CBRE Maintenance Sr. Technician, you will maintain medium- to large-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment while supporting a major technology client. This day-shift position is Monday through Friday and is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. The role provides support, preventive maintenance, and repairs for equipment and systems, including basic plumbing, low-voltage systems, and carpentry.

The position involves general facility maintenance, routine inspections, work-order coordination, and support for efficient building-system operation. The technician works within standardized procedures to meet objectives and deadlines, communicates straightforward information, and models behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2–3 years of job-related experience; a combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of a diploma.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, and lifting or carrying loads of 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Organizational skills and a strong inquisitive mindset.
• Some knowledge of standard principles, with limited practical experience applying them.

Nice To Haves

• Certifications in the field are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, low-voltage work, and carpentry.
• Complete drywall repairs, door and lock repairs, and electric door maintenance as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections, including fire extinguisher checks and other facility maintenance tasks.
• Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
