This role requires the ability to perform work in multiple maintenance trades including carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding. The Maintenance Specialist will conduct routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, battery-operated vehicles, and equipment. This role involves testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing machines and equipment, as well as interpreting blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications. The specialist will also set up and operate all tools and equipment necessary to perform assigned work.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen or a Permanent resident (i.e., ‘Green Card’) per ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) guidelines.
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship or a foreign person per ITAR.
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • An active clearance is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
