About The Position

This position is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on the Corporate and Transportation facility, covering both interior and exterior structures, systems, and fixtures. Work involves a variety of skilled trades, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, locksmithing, flooring, electrical, welding, mechanical systems, and HVAC.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent or equivalent relevant experience.
  • One year of experience as a semi-skilled worker in one or more of the basic building maintenance trades.
  • Knowledge of manual and electrical hand tools.
  • PC literate with experience with Microsoft Word and Excel and usage of email.
  • Ability to follow oral and/or written instruction.
  • Basic math and reading skills to perform job tasks and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Ability to function with minimal supervision, handle multiple tasks and prioritize daily work.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work with others in a professional manner

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine daily inspections and maintenance of building interiors and exteriors.
  • Assist with and perform general maintenance, repair, and construction tasks across the facility.
  • Support installation, maintenance, and repair work across multiple trades, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, welding, locksmithing, flooring, mechanics, and HVAC.
  • Inspect property grounds and communicate with management regarding landscaping, cleanup, and general maintenance needs.
  • Ensure and actively maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Support operational procedures to ensure customer value and regulatory compliance, including ISO standards and Lean Logistics principles.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols. Participate in all required training programs. Complete assigned work in a timely and professional manner.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Lean Logistics Center.
  • Maintain accurate preventive maintenance records and schedules.
  • Perform other related job duties as assigned or required.
