Maintenance Specialist - Bldg/Facility/Const, Journey 2/Lead (HVAC PCN 20-5430)
About The Position
The Department of Corrections, Division of Institutions, is recruiting for a Maintenance Specialist, Building/Facility/Construction, Journey 2/Lead, for the Goose Creek Correctional Center (GCCC), located in Mackenzie Point, Alaska. The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Service, clean, and repair gas fired burners, HVAC equipment, ventilation system, refrigeration equipment, freezers, compressors, and water heaters. Conduct routine and non-routine inspections and perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on all HVAC equipment, ventilation system, refrigeration equipment, freezers, compressors, and water heaters. Obtain quotes and advise supervisor for ordering purposes when parts are needed; assure parts are readily available when needed.
Requirements

- Possess a valid driver's license.
