About The Position

Provide routine and specialized building repair and maintenance support for hospital, hospital equipment, and hospital properties utilizing the computerized maintenance management system. Performs the duties of skill trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, general maintenance, mechanical, HVAC, and exterior maintenance as required. Provide technical support and general guidance to facility staff in the repair and operation of facility equipment, components, utilities, and the like. Participate in hospital and departmental safety programs, education opportunities, and related training.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
3 Years experience in a commercial or industrial environment
DL - Driver’s License Upon Hire
Proficient in the use of computerized systems for all aspects of job performance
Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and utility systems
Mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams
Ability to work effectively unsupervised and in teams
Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills
Ability work nights, weekends, and/or holidays

Nice To Haves

1 Year experience in a healthcare environment
Other Healthcare maintenance certification Upon Hire
