About The Position
With direct supervision from a Lead Technician, Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician C performs preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks. The role requires basic knowledge of vehicle systems to carry out routine maintenance and repairs. The technician works on a single fleet with state-of-the-art equipment, supporting drivers and servicing technically advanced vehicles. The position offers training in new technologies and equipment, a regular shift, and opportunities for professional growth and recognition.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification T8 PM.
- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Maintain basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems to perform preventive maintenance and some repairs.
- Perform vehicle preventive maintenance inspections and adjustments, oil changes, fluid replenishment, tire changes, light repairs, and basic electrical work such as changing lights.
- Conduct visual inspections to identify potential equipment issues and sources of malfunctions using a variety of tools.
- Complete applicable Company training programs.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
