About The Position

With direct supervision from a Lead Technician, Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Shop Technician C performs preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks. The role requires basic knowledge of vehicle systems to perform routine maintenance and repairs. Work includes maintaining a single fleet with advanced equipment and supporting drivers as they run their routes. The posting describes a regular shift, training in new technologies and equipment, and opportunities for professional growth.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification T8 PM.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems to perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs.
• Perform vehicle preventive maintenance inspections and adjustments.
• Change oil and replenish fluids.
• Perform adjustments and light repairs, including tire changes.
• Perform basic electrical work, such as changing lights.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify potential equipment issues and sources of malfunctions using a variety of tools.
• Complete applicable company training programs.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
