The Maintenance Clerk provides administrative support to the maintenance function. This role is responsible for ensuring the availability of parts in a cost-effective manner, maintaining fleet records on inventory levels, preventive maintenance schedules, and corrective maintenance performed on all units. The clerk will input fleet information into the computerized fleet management system daily and may act as a point of contact with vendors to order, receive, and ensure payment for goods and services. They will also prepare truck purchase orders for management approval, utilize ePro to process transactions, and receive, tag, stock, and dispense parts to mechanics according to policy. Additionally, the role involves reviewing purchase orders with accounting for invoice accuracy, producing productivity and usage reports, following safety policies, reconciling financial data, and supporting the Fleet Manager with analysis of fleet operations reports. This includes analyzing data, identifying trends, correcting mistakes, and resolving data errors, escalating others to management. The position may also assist with parts organization and inventory and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
