The Maintenance Clerk provides administrative support to the maintenance function. This role is responsible for ensuring the cost-effective availability of parts, maintaining detailed fleet records, and accurately inputting fleet information into the computerized fleet management system daily. The clerk may also act as a point of contact with vendors for ordering and receiving goods and services, prepare truck purchase orders, and process transactions using ePro. Responsibilities include receiving, tagging, stocking, and dispensing parts to mechanics, reviewing purchase orders with accounting for invoice accuracy, and producing various reports for management review. The position also involves reconciling financial data, supporting the Fleet Manager with operational report analysis, resolving data errors, and potentially assisting with parts organization and inventory. The role requires adherence to all safety policies and procedures and participation in achieving safety goals.
