MAINTENANCE SERVICE TECHNICIAN
About The Position
Arlington Properties is hiring a full-time Maintenance Service Technician at 10x Retreat at PCB in Panama City Beach, Florida. The technician helps keep the property functional, attractive, and welcoming for residents by preparing vacant apartments for move-in, responding to work orders, performing general maintenance, and caring for grounds and shared amenities. Duties include light plumbing and electrical work, painting, HVAC support, appliance repair, preventative maintenance, inspections, pool upkeep, snow removal, and other seasonal tasks. The role also requires being alert and available for emergency maintenance needs, working safely and efficiently, and communicating professionally with residents and team members. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience, such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or HVAC work.
- Proficiency in at least one major trade area.
- EPA certification.
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all conditions.
- Excellent communication and professionalism with residents and team members.
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and on-call shifts.
Responsibilities
- Prepare vacant apartments to market-ready condition.
- Handle work orders with skill, urgency, and a positive attitude.
- Perform general maintenance, including light plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC support, and appliance repair.
- Keep grounds and common areas clean and inviting.
- Support preventative maintenance and inspections.
- Assist with snow removal, pool upkeep, and seasonal tasks.
- Stay alert and on-call for emergency maintenance needs.
