About The Position

Arlington Properties is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician to join their team. This role involves preparing vacant apartments for move-in, handling work orders, performing general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC support, and appliance repair. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appeal of grounds and common areas, supporting preventative maintenance, and assisting with seasonal tasks like snow removal and pool upkeep. The position requires being on-call for emergency maintenance needs and adhering to safety and efficiency standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
1–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.)
Proficiency in at least one major trade area
Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all conditions
Excellent communication and professionalism with residents and team members
Available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and on-call shifts
