About The Position
The Maintenance Service Technician I will work independently and proficiently with machine maintenance ability to perform mechanical and electrical repairs and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- High school graduate; or GED; or BOCES Machine Shop classes; or Skilled trade school graduate
- 6 to 12 months of machine repair or machine shop experience
- Mechanical aptitude

- 1 year of machine shop experience
Responsibilities
- With assistance, evaluate repair requests to determine course of action and/or parts required.
- Coordinates repair schedule with supervisor to minimize equipment down time.
- Confer with machine manufacturer for troubleshooting.
- Complete all required paperwork and updates service records as needed.
- Perform basic troubleshooting with assistance.
- Complete preventative maintenance and maintain schedule as directed.
- Performs other related duties as directed.
