About The Position
We’re looking for dependable, friendly, and team-oriented individuals to join our hotel team! Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment throughout the hotel while providing excellent service to guests. This position is responsible for assisting with general maintenance, property upkeep, safety, and security while responding to guest and operational needs.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
- Must be dependable, responsible, and able to work independently
- Must have good customer service and communication skills
- Must be able to identify and report safety, maintenance, and security concerns
Nice To Haves
- Previous maintenance, hotel, housekeeping, facilities, security, custodial, or building operations experience
- Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and general maintenance preferred
- Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and upkeep throughout the hotel and property
- Inspect common areas, guest areas, equipment, and facilities and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Assist with basic repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
- Monitor the property and common areas to help maintain a safe and secure environment
- Respond to guest requests and maintenance concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining public areas, entrances, hallways, restrooms, and other assigned areas
- Report suspicious activity, safety hazards, damaged property, or security concerns to management
- Assist with emergencies and follow established safety and security procedures
- Move furniture, equipment, supplies, and other items as needed
- Maintain accurate communication with management regarding maintenance, safety, security, and guest concerns
- Follow all HHS and hotel safety, maintenance, security, and operational procedures
- Provide friendly and professional service to all guests and team members
- Assist team members and management as needed to help the hotel operate efficiently
