About The Position
The City of Fort Wayne is hiring a seasonal Maintenance Seasonal – Botanical Conservatory Facility team member to support safe, clean, and well-prepared public spaces at the Botanical Conservatory. This entry-level, onsite role helps keep facilities and grounds ready for daily visitors and scheduled activities. Key responsibilities include routine cleaning and light upkeep of interior/exterior areas; assisting with room and equipment set-up for events; handling basic material movement and disposal; operating assigned tools safely; completing tasks as directed and documenting completed work when requested.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Completion of three years of high school
- Any combination of related work experience (e.g., cleaning, catering, equipment set-up)
- Valid Indiana Driver’s License
