RESPONSIBILITIES Purchasing leadership & accountability Facility maintenance upkeep & improvement leadership Prioritizing and scheduling planned maintenance work Prioritizing and scheduling preventative maintenance work Interfacing with department leaders to determine department maintenance needs Balanced scheduling of emergency, planned, & preventative weekend work Site expert and owner of CMMS (Megamation) to support maintenance and sanitation Constantly working to improve the CMMS (Megamation) within the facility and across the company Creating, executing, and communicating reports (daily/weekly/monthly) to drive maintenance performance Ownership and improvement of work order backlog Partnering with maintenance supervisors to assign and evaluate maintenance work Supporting the planner and crib attendants on inventory strategies & improvements Regular review of PM task lists & frequency and overall PM program including adding PMs for new equipment Monitoring, record keeping, and taking appropriate actions for maintenance specific Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan and any other prerequisite program requirements Miscellaneous department leadership as needed EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, maintenance schedule/planning, or inventory positions Database application experience (Microsoft excel) 2-year degree or equivalent experience in maintenance related or Inventory/planning discipline KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Highly computer proficient – Microsoft Outlook, Word, & Excel Megamation knowledge preferred Self-managed, proactive, and organized Professional Skilled in inventory control, parts management, and/or Scheduling Knowledge of mechanical systems Red Gold technical knowledge highly preferred Able to work well with others / team player SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Direct: Facilities Maintenance, Maintenance Purchaser, Maintenance Planner, & Crib Attendants Indirect: None SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Direct: Facilities Maintenance, Maintenance Purchaser, Maintenance Planner, & Crib Attendants Indirect: None PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS Sitting - to complete a task at lower levels Standing - to complete most all tasks Walking Climbing - to get to parts department, when using ladder, on equipment Reaching - to perform activities, to get tools out of toolbox Kneeling - to perform work activities at low levels Crawling - to perform work activities under equipment Squatting Bending/stooping - to pick up tools or parts, to perform work tasks at lower levels or inside a machine Twisting - to perform work activities Pinch - to use tools, to manipulate wires Grasping/handling - using tools, manipulating parts Must be able to utilize hands and fingers in constructing and replacing of machine parts Must be able to lift/carry machine parts Must wear protective/sanitary gear in designated areas of the plant and while doing certain tasks (i.e. hair/beard nets, earplugs, environmental suit, goggles, welding shield etc.) JOB COMPETENCIES Ethics/ Integrity/ Trust Attitude and Commitment Diversity Customer Service Company Engagement Quality Cost Consciousness Other Responsible to report food safety and quality issues to management
