About The Position

Accel Air Systems, founded in 2003 and acquired by Service Logic in 2021, is a leading provider of HVAC services to the San Francisco Bay Area commercial building sector. They specialize in Maintenance, Service, Retrofit, Repair, and New Construction, supporting a broad range of facilities. The company is seeking a driven, self-motivated Maintenance Sales Representative (MSR) to join their team as a dedicated new business hunter. This role is focused on growing the HVAC Preventive Maintenance (PM) contract base by targeting and closing new commercial accounts throughout the Bay Area. Success in this role means consistently finding and winning new business, not account management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, a hunter’s mindset, and familiarity with HVAC or mechanical services to engage effectively with facility managers, property managers, and building engineers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B outside sales experience, with a demonstrable track record of hunting and closing new business
  • Experience selling service contracts, maintenance agreements, or mechanical/facilities services strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed a revenue quota ($200K+ preferred)
  • Strong prospecting skills — comfortable with cold outreach, cold calling, and building relationships from scratch
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present proposals and negotiate contracts
  • Self-starter who can manage a territory independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation (travel up to 40% locally)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and CRM tools

  • Familiarity with HVAC systems, mechanical services, or commercial building operations
  • Existing relationships with Bay Area facility managers, property managers, or building engineers
  • College degree or equivalent professional experience

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new commercial accounts through cold outreach, networking, job walks, and referrals — this role is primarily outbound hunting
  • Identify, target, and close new HVAC Preventive Maintenance (PM) agreements with commercial facility owners, property managers, and building engineers
  • Conduct professional site assessments and attend job walks to scope PM opportunities
  • Prepare and present tailored PM proposals, repair quotes, and service agreements to prospective customers
  • Maintain a healthy, organized pipeline and track all activity in CRM; meet weekly with your manager to review progress against quota
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless handoffs and customer satisfaction after the sale
  • Stay current on Accel Air’s service capabilities, pricing, and market positioning
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities (repair, retrofit, emergency service) within new accounts
