About The Position

Carolina Chillers, LLC is seeking a motivated HVAC professional for a Maintenance Sales Representative role in its Charleston, South Carolina office. The position focuses primarily on acquiring new customers for preventative maintenance service agreements and also involves occasionally assisting management with proposals and customer relations for commercial facilities. The successful candidate is expected to be detail-oriented, independent, driven, and motivated.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in sales or business development.
• Experience with mechanical HVAC and building automation systems.
• Good rapport and a network with clients and subcontractors.
• At least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and internet browsers.
• Ability to pass a standard drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Detail-oriented, independent, driven, and motivated.

Nice To Haves

• Degree or diploma in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with sales demonstrations, sales meetings, and customer negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Seek new customers for preventative maintenance service agreements.
• Occasionally assist management with proposals and customer relations for commercial facilities.
• Generate leads through cold calling and other prospecting methods.
• Consult and investigate business opportunities with a broad range of customer contacts.
• Generate proposals and cost development sheets.
• Develop methods and create and deliver presentations.
• Research and network within various industries and customer bases.
• Develop activity and follow up, and anticipate trends.
• Participate in team and individual development.
