About The Position

This position is primarily for Security and some Maintenance duties as required. The Glen's 45-acre campus includes 102 Independent Living apartments, 18 Independent cottages, 42 Assisted Living apartments, and a 30-bed new memory care building. The role is to maintain a peaceful and secure community environment for our residents and staff. Security and maintenance duties are included.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid NYS Driver's License required.

Nice To Haves

• NYS Security License preferred.
• 2 years' experience preferred.
• The Glen will pay for Security license if needed.

Responsibilities

• Patrol building for resident safety and equipment checks.
• First responder to, and investigate complaints, thefts, vandalism, accidents, or incidents and promptly report to the management, law enforcement officials, or emergency/rescue personnel as is appropriate.
• Light maintenance as needed – salt and shovel walkways for safety during ice & snow, respond to plumbing issues in maintenance off hours, light bulbs, etc.
• Resident services as needed such as package delivery, valet vehicles, etc.
