About The Position

This role is responsible for various maintenance tasks to ensure the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained. Key duties include snow removal, trash management, lighting maintenance, and general cleaning of common areas. The position also involves reporting safety hazards and supply needs to management.

Requirements

• Ability to keep entrances/exits clear of snow and salt icy areas.
• Ability to empty trash cans and cigarette dispensers.
• Ability to change burned out or broken bulbs.
• Ability to remove graffiti.
• Ability to sweep the garage using an automatic sweeper and maintain it.
• Ability to sweep and disinfect all stairwells and elevators.
• Ability to report abnormal activities and safety hazards.
• Ability to report to the manager when supplies need to be ordered.

Responsibilities

• Completes special projects or assignments as directed by the manager.
• Keeps entrances/exits clear of snow and salts icy areas with approved products.
• Reports abnormal activities and safety hazards (violations, accidents, equipment malfunctions, security issues, unauthorized vehicles, etc.).
• Empties trash cans and cigarette dispensers, changes burned out or broken bulbs, and removes graffiti as needed.
• Sweeps the garage using the automatic sweeper if available and maintains the sweeper after each use.
• Sweeps and disinfects all stairwells and elevators as directed.
• Reports to the manager when supplies need to be ordered.
