About The Position

Join the Procurement Centers and Property Management team as a Maintenance Repairman 2 and help keep agency workspaces running smoothly. This role supports daily operations by completing skilled maintenance, repair, and setup tasks across agency facilities, helping keep equipment, furniture, and spaces in good condition for daily use. The position is full-time, with work hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and a 60-minute lunch. Telework is not available.

Requirements

• Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work involving at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
• Must meet the Pennsylvania residency requirement.
• Must be able to perform the essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance, repair, and construction tasks throughout agency buildings and offices.
• Assist with installing and repairing circuits, lighting, sensors, and related electrical components.
• Work with carpenters to repair and install walls, doors, frames, and panels.
• Move, install, reconfigure, and repair modular and standard furniture.
• Safely use hand and power tools to complete assigned tasks.
• Coordinate with staff to arrange furniture and equipment for events in agency buildings.
