As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will perform the following duties: Construction Planning: Plan materials, tools, and steps for a variety of building and repair projects Carpentry and Concrete: Measure, cut, place, and finish materials for framing, carpentry, and concrete tasks Facility Repairs: Repair or replace lights, plumbing parts, doors, valves, switches, and similar items Grounds Maintenance: Cut grass, remove snow, and wash trucks during winter activities Equipment Care: Clean and store plows, spreaders, and tools used for seasonal operations Team Leadership: Guide helpers by assigning basic duties and monitoring their work.

Requirements

  • Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
  • Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities
  • Possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License
  • Ability to perform essential job functions
