Requirements

Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades
Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities
Meet the PA residency requirement
Be able to perform essential job functions
Satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance (conditional offer of employment requires medical examination and criminal history reports)

Responsibilities

Perform building maintenance, preventative tasks, and renovation work across hospital property
Install circuits, lighting, switches, outlets, and related electrical components
Install and maintain plumbing lines, fixtures, and equipment
Measure, cut, install, and finish drywall, framing, trim, doors, and windows
Repair masonry surfaces and complete roof, gutter, and downspout work
Safely operate tools and machinery such as saws, drills, sanders, and snow removal equipment
