About The Position
Southeastern Louisiana University’s Department of Physical Plant Services invites applications for the position of Maintenance Repairer 2. This position performs maintenance functions in the Housing Facilities. Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting HVAC Mechanics, cleaning and changing filters and coils, cleaning cooling towers, and cleaning air handling units.
Requirements
- Two years of experience or training in the building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance or repair of mechanical equipment, or as a parks building and grounds attendant
- Completion of a two-year vocational technical program in general building construction, construction technology, or engineering
- Twelve semester hours in construction management, construction technology, or engineering, or any combination of these courses

- Assisting HVAC Mechanics
- Cleaning and changing filters and coils
- Cleaning cooling towers
- Cleaning air handling units
