About The Position

The Maintenance & Repair Technician performs maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on residential and commercial roofing systems. The work includes reactive service calls and scheduled preventative maintenance visits. The role calls for experienced roofing professionals with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service.

Requirements

Strong understanding of common residential and commercial roofing systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair leaks quickly and thoroughly.
Ability to lift 75 lbs.
Ability to work in various weather conditions.
Comfort working at heights and performing physically demanding tasks.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Comfort working on ladders, lifts, and steep-slope roofs.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL is not required.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on roofing experience; repairs and maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs on asphalt shingle, metal, tile, TPO, and other roofing systems.
Diagnose leaks and roofing issues accurately and efficiently.
Complete scheduled maintenance, including cleaning gutters, sealing penetrations, and minor flashing repairs.
Respond to urgent service requests and storm damage reports.
Document work performed using company software and apps, including photos, notes, and materials used.
Communicate clearly with dispatch, customers, and internal teams.
Work safely at heights and follow company and OSHA safety protocols.
Maintain a clean and professional appearance and job site.
Provide feedback to the office or estimators regarding roof condition or upsell opportunities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
