Join Oshkosh Aerotech as a Facilities Maintenance Technician, responsible for troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on airport facility systems and controls. You'll manage reactive, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks, swiftly respond to maintenance requests, and ensure detailed documentation within the CMMS. Ideal for someone with a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems who thrives in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • 3+ years’ experience in equipment and maintenance operations
  • Ability to obtain airport security clearance.
  • Availability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in airport operations or facility maintenance.
  • Plumbing/electrical background with 480V, 3-phase motors.
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
  • Working knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Basic proficiency with computers and common software applications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic; troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repair on facility systems, equipment, and controls.
  • Accurately document maintenance activities in the CMMS.
  • Execute reactive, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, including emergency response.
  • Promptly communicate critical updates to the Site Manager.
  • Interpret manuals and work orders to perform required service tasks.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standards and collaborate effectively within a diverse team.
