Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in reliability and continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in Reliability Engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Prior experience to and knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
  • Demonstrate close attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization using excel and machine reliability software
  • Experience with CNC machining and PLC programming
  • Strong understanding of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
  • Experience with technical writing
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Effective at managing multiple priorities under deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, communicate, and execute

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the overall goal of reducing downtime, improving equipment performance, and ensuring safe and efficient plant operations.
  • Drive the development and implementation of the plant’s Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program.
  • Conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential failure points and prioritize maintenance activities.
  • Analyze data from equipment monitoring systems (e.g., vibration, temperature) to predict failures.
  • Prepare reports on reliability metrics, including Operational Availability (OA), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
  • Optimize the use of physical assets, extending their life and improving return on investment.
  • Provide training to maintenance and operations staff on reliability practices and equipment care.
  • Collaborate with equipment suppliers to improve reliability and resolve issues.
  • Lead or participate in projects aimed at improving equipment reliability, such as upgrades or new equipment installations.
