Part-Time Maintenance & Recieving Associate
About The Position
Home Run Inn Pizza in Darien is seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance & Receiving Associate to support daily operations. This role is responsible for unloading deliveries, organizing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant. Home Run Inn Pizza is a fourth-generation family business that competes in both the restaurant and frozen food industries. Our primary goal at Home Run Inn Pizza is to be more than a participant in these industries. Our goal is to be a leader. We currently dominate the Chicago frozen pizza landscape, and we know exactly why. We’ve identified the key elements of our Chicago strategy and have decided it is time to become the leading tavern style pizza nationally!
Requirements
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (40+ lbs)
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 5 hours)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Must be at least 16 years of age
Nice To Haves
- Previous maintenance, cleaning, or receiving experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Unload delivery trucks and organize incoming inventory
- Ensure products are properly stored and rotated
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of storage areas
- Maintain cleanliness of dining room, bathrooms, and game room (3x per week – typically Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
- Maintain cleanliness of basement/storage areas (1x per week)
- Perform deep cleaning of equipment (2x per month), including coolers, ovens, and fryers
