About The Position

McCraw Oil is seeking a Maintenance / Pump Technician to join their team. The primary function of this role is to establish a route within the customer base and perform general cleaning and maintenance to ensure facilities meet brand expectations. The technician may also perform a variety of skilled duties in building trades such as painting, carpentry, minor electrical, cement masonry, drywall, plumbing, or other recognized crafts to maintain and repair dealer-operated buildings and facilities. Some overnight travel may be required. This is a full-time position offering 40 hours per week throughout the year. McCraw Oil has a leading distribution of ExxonMobil, Valero, Phillips 66 and unbranded fuels and has been serving Texas and Oklahoma since 1972.

Requirements

Demonstrated ability to work with hands and to work in mechanically oriented situations following supervisor’s instructions.
General knowledge of various types of equipment used in the building trades.
Ability to work with little or no supervision, given proper instructions.
Ability to do heavy lifting.
Ability to follow instructions, given either orally or in writing.
Ability to learn the brand standards, assess the facility to that standard, and then perform the appropriate tasks to ensure compliance.
Ability to read and write and to follow detailed written instructions.
Licensed Pump Tech on Gilbarco or Wayne pumps.
Good driving record for the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

Establish a route within our customer base and perform general cleaning and maintenance to ensure that the facility is up to brand expectations.
Perform a variety of skilled duties in one or more of the building trades, such as painting, carpentry, minor electrical, cement masonry, dry wall, plumbing, or other recognized crafts for the purpose of maintaining, repairing dealer operated buildings and facilities.
Repairing and replacing all equipment, with a focus on gas dispensers.
