About The Position

As the Maintenance Project Manager, you are a part of BEST PEOPLE, reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager you will be working closely with our customer to plan and execute facility upgrades and projects such as equipment upgrades, electrical, plumbing, and pneumatic projects. In this role you interface directly Mechanical Engineer and Electrical Engineer at the site. You’ll be reviewing project plans and presenting options for execution of projects, establishing timelines for project completion, ordering and securing materials and resources, and ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget. Your passion for providing exceptional customer service contributes to our world-class customer service reputation. This role applies expertise in industrial facility maintenance to perform all work safely while setting an example for quality and laying out the map for their team’s success. Working as a business partner with our client you are exceeding their expectations daily by implementing our BEST SYSTEMS while you engage our team to share their voice as we collectively identify and eliminate waste to deliver BEST RESULTS!

Requirements

  • Ability to effectively collaborate with peers, management, subordinates, and corporate resources to positively impact performance.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematic drawings.
  • Detail oriented, good organizational skills, able to manage time and priorities to assist with multiple projects.

  • Experience using boom and scissor lifts, comfortable working at heights up to 40 feet.
  • Experience running electrical conduit and compressed air piping.
  • Experience welding/fabricating and operating various shop equipment.
  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Experience completing JHA and identifying work hazards.
  • Knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic systems and installations.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations as required for facility projects.
  • Must have a high mechanical and electrical aptitude that can be demonstrated with standardized testing / or experience.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years of Industrial Facility Project or Maintenance Experience preferred.
  • Training equivalent to journeyman status or certification in an engineering discipline preferred.
