Requirements

Bachelor's degree or related experience in Engineering, or technical field.
Engineer I: 0-3 years' experience.
Engineer II: 3-5 years' experience.
Ability to analyze complex technical issues.
Detailed level of project management for regulatory compliance modifications.
Excellent verbal and technical writing skills.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification.
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.

Responsibilities

Provides engineering and problem-solving support to deliver routine maintenance programs that promote safety, compliance and efficiency.
Identifies and creates plans to mitigate technical failures in partnership with fleet engineering teams.
Focuses on reliability, aircraft availability and cost control to drive measurable value to the airline's operation.
Understands, analyzes, and seeks solutions to the design, operation, maintenance, performance, or repair of aircraft and their components.
Evaluates the benefits and cost impact of fleet decisions to ensure a balance of cost and asset utilization.
Develops maintenance programs solutions and implementation plans, project justification, cost/benefit analysis, and overall management of project implementation.
Organizes and manages the priorities for assigned responsibilities and accomplishes the work process to meet all deliverables for aircraft projects.
Coordinates work with other operational groups to ensure airworthiness, safety, regulatory compliance, operational reliability, and operational efficiency.
