Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or related experience in Engineering, or technical field.
  • Engineer I: 0-3 years' experience.
  • Engineer II: 3-5 years' experience.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical issues.
  • Detailed level of project management for regulatory compliance modifications.
  • Excellent verbal and technical writing skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification.
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Provides engineering and problem-solving support to deliver routine maintenance programs that promote safety, compliance and efficiency.
  • Identifies and creates plans to mitigate technical failures in partnership with fleet engineering teams.
  • Focuses on reliability, aircraft availability and cost control to drive measurable value to the airline's operation.
  • Understands, analyzes, and seeks solutions to the design, operation, maintenance, performance, or repair of aircraft and their components.
  • Evaluates the benefits and cost impact of fleet decisions to ensure a balance of cost and asset utilization.
  • Develops maintenance programs solutions and implementation plans, project justification, cost/benefit analysis, and overall management of project implementation.
  • Organizes and manages the priorities for assigned responsibilities and accomplishes the work process to meet all deliverables for aircraft projects.
  • Coordinates work with other operational groups to ensure airworthiness, safety, regulatory compliance, operational reliability, and operational efficiency.
