About The Position

Pantheon Data is seeking a motivated Maintenance Procedure Card (MPC) Specialist- ELEX to develop MPCs to include, drafting, updating, reviewing, correcting and quality control reviews in accordance with the Planned Maintenance System (PMS) Development Process Guide.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years' experience in the field.
  • Completion of formal training in Maintenance Procedure Card (MPC) development and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM).
  • Must have 5 years' practical engineering experience for the operation, test, maintenance and repair of Electronic and Weapons Handling Systems and Equipment.
  • Must have 2 years' experience preparing original technical documentation involving the operation, maintenance or testing of Electronic and Weapons Handling Systems and Equipment.
  • Must have 2 years' experience developing PMS performed under an active NAVSEA 04 RCM Level I and/or II Certification.
  • Must be able to apply comprehensive knowledge and comprehension of technical drawings, test specifications, reports, naval messages, and equipment operating procedures to technical documentation in a straightforward and easily understood manner.
  • Must be able to follow applicable military specifications and best practices solutions.
  • Must possess excellent communication, writing, grammar, and customer service skills.
  • Must have a strong attention to detail with organizational and prioritization skills and the ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates with training and practical application of RCM principles are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review Maintenance requirements generated by the Reliability Centered Maintenance process and generate new MPCs identified on the approved Maintenance Requirement List (MRL).
  • Develop detailed maintenance procedures for required preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Identify required tools, consumables, expendables, and appropriate cautions and warnings
  • Research various systems for technical and supply data; provide technical recommendations for Technical Publication updates.
  • Translate Original Equipment Manufacturers' (OEMS) recommended maintenance procedure into Coast Guard format.
  • Review drawings for accuracy; provide technical recommendations for drawing/photo updates.
  • May be required to perform ship visits to validate technical information for inclusion in MPCs or to validate MPCs before publication.
  • Format technical information to align with the approved process and develop clear procedures to conduct required maintenance.
  • Implement changes required in response to field generated maintenance feedback reports
  • Conduct data calls to the fleet.
