About The Position

Legacy Parking is seeking a dependable, motivated, hands-on Maintenance Porter to help maintain a parking facility in Atlanta. This full-time role is for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys staying active, and is committed to keeping facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained. The role requires availability Monday through Friday, with flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

The Maintenance Porter maintains parking garages and lots to company standards, completes daily maintenance and safety tasks, operates maintenance equipment, follows the preventative maintenance schedule provided by the Location Manager, and documents work in log systems. The role also involves courteous customer assistance and representing Legacy Parking professionally.

Requirements

• Previous experience in maintenance, custodial work, or general facility operations is required.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Dependability, excellent time-management skills, and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Friendly, customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, and lift up to 100 pounds as needed.
• Ability to perform medium to heavy physical activity daily.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using power washers and floor scrubbers.

Responsibilities

• Keep parking garages and lots clean, safe, and maintained to company standards.
• Clean grounds, equipment, and surrounding areas.
• Complete safety checks and minor repairs.
• Apply paint, sealants, and lubrication as needed.
• Remove trash and debris.
• Operate maintenance equipment such as blowers, sweepers, and power washers.
• Follow the preventative maintenance schedule provided by the Location Manager.
• Accurately document maintenance activities in log systems.
• Notify management of material or supply needs in a timely manner.
• Represent Legacy Parking professionally and courteously.
• Maintain a positive attitude when interacting with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Assist customers or visitors courteously to support a good parking experience.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
