About The Position

Assists in the provision of general maintenance and repair of buildings, furniture, equipment and other agency property, on an on call basis.

Requirements

  • Physical ability to climb ladders, lift heavy objects etc.
  • Skill in the use of hand tools, and general maintenance materials
  • Knowledge of basic Safety rules and practices
  • Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Ability to understand and maintain confidentiality
  • Fingerprint card clearance may be required
  • Must show proof of automobile insurance and pass Motor Vehicle Report if driving company vehicle

Responsibilities

  • Respond to work order Schedule, which may include but is not limited to the following service or repairs: Furniture moves and/or assembly, Wall repair and prep and/or painting, Door repair/replacement, Ceiling tile and or light bulb replacement, Mounting items on walls, Grounds keeping.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to demonstrate ability to follow safety procedures.
  • Ensure that work assigned for this position is requested on agency work order form only.
  • Employees must be able to monitor consumer activities, with or without reasonable accommodation.
