Maintenance Pool
About The Position
This role is part of the Maintenance Pool and is available on the 1st shift, from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. The position involves assisting Maintenance, Production, and Sanitation personnel, and requires working in various conditions, including inside/outside, heat/cold, and elevated areas. Responsibilities include forklift maintenance, facility painting, HVAC filter replacement, lighting maintenance, fan maintenance, and general facility upkeep. The role also requires recording maintenance data, reporting equipment concerns, and participating in overtime and on-call duties as needed.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Maintenance jargon, Maintenance Best Practices Knowledge; OSHA, safety, etc.
- Proven ability to work in a team as well as independently
- Working knowledge of GMP, OSHA and Production needs.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift repair and HVAC repair experience preferred.
- 1-5 years manufacturing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Work with and assist Maintenance, Production & Sanitation personnel
- Requires working inside/outside, in the heat/cold, including elevated areas (ex. roof/silos)
- Conduct forklift battery changes
- Clean / detail forklifts
- Perform facility painting as needed
- Replace HVAC filters & wash coils
- Ensure proper lighting is maintained throughout the facility by ensuring bulbs are replaced timely
- Conduct preventative maintenance and cleaning of facility exhaust & supply fans
- Perform basic facility maintenance as assigned
- Record maintenance data as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor & Manager to monitor equipment performance
- Identify and report equipment concerns to the Maintenance Manager.
- Participate in overtime assignments as required.
- Provide “on call” coverage as needed.
- Perform other various duties as assigned.
