About The Position

An exciting hybrid working opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Planner to join our Indianapolis, IN team. As our Maintenance Planner, you will lead the planning process to deliver the requested work scopes. You will be responsible for setting, reviewing, and adjusting schedules, reviewing personnel, tooling and materials needed to complete maintenance within the work scope. Interface with internal and external customers to ensure accuracy in the work scope and meets customer expectations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (General Educational Development) with 5+ years of aviation propulsion maintenance and 145 repair stations with FAA Airframe & Power Plant License, OR Associates degree with 4+ years of aviation propulsion maintenance and 145 repair stations with FAA Airframe & Power Plant License, OR Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of aviation propulsion maintenance and 145 repair stations with FAA Airframe & Power Plant License
  • Must be a US Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
  • Must successfully complete a FAA/DOT pre-employment background check, a FAA/DOT drug screen that tests for the presence of Marijuana, Cocaine, Opiates, Phencyclidine and Amphetamines (or metabolites of those drugs) and comply with FAA-mandated rules on drug and alcohol use.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule manpower by skill proficiency for each job to include identifying the lead technician, inspector and technicians required by task.
  • Prepare and issue job quotes in accordance with customer contracts.
  • Upon job completion gather pertinent information to provide invoicing data to the NAFSC for invoice generation.
  • Coordination between Operations, Quality and Purchasing, as required, to expedite job completion and/or return to service.
  • Manpower/resource planning in accordance with RR HSE policies and in consideration of FAA CFR title 14, part 145 regulations.
  • Provide the customer and the service organization with updates on job scheduling, progression and coordinates problem resolution.
  • Prepare and review of daily/weekly reports, identifying the required tooling and parts and ensuring all tooling, parts and hazardous material shipments are in compliance with customs and export regulations.
  • Ability to go on a shift pattern which includes evening and weekend work and to man a weekly 24/7 on-call duty phone in support of AOG (airplane on ground) events.
  • Ability to Interface with customers and work a rotating shift which would include evenings and weekends and be on call when needed.
