The Maintenance Planner will plan and classify all maintenance actions for the designated area regarding activities, internal and external labor, spare parts, materials, special tools and necessary safety and ecological instructions; assuring that work teams carry out only the necessary amount of administrative work. Duties and responsibilities include: Create and monitor maintenance schedules for plant and equipment utilizing Ross ERP. Initial screening of incoming work orders, identification of scope, and analysis of required level of planning. Conducting plant and equipment inspections to identify and document maintenance job requirements. Estimate required hours and parts on work order tasks, and skills required to perform the task and calculates total costs to be incurred. Verify authorization on work requests, the description of information, and the appropriate priority or completion date. Provide plant analytical data to management from ERP. Create and monitor maintenance schedules for plant and equipment utilizing Ross ERP. Assisting in the procurement of resources including parts and labor, ensuring availability for all scheduled work through the planned parts. Supporting supervisors and the management team in achieving KPI targets and develop standard jobs, maintenance scheduled tasks and application parts listings. Assisting with the development of job safety environmental analysis, as well as risk analysis and assessments. Providing support to the maintenance and operations teams in the development and implementation of assigned continuous improvement projects, including the development and review of operating procedures. Review’s drawings and design for constructability. Establishing and implementing all maintenance systems and schedules, maintenance history, spare parts, tracking work orders, practices and procedures for the plant and associated infrastructure. Participate in the planning of equipment shutdowns required to perform preventive or corrective maintenance activities. Estimate required labor, prepare list of spare parts and reference data, and anticipate other resources required to complete jobs in a safe way. To keep reference files about specifications of equipment, spare parts, drawings, history, manuals, forms, policies and procedures. Help determine critical routes, sequence of activities, total cost of shutdown and required resources (i.e. spare parts, labor, etc.). Track outage schedule and costs on a daily basis during the duration of the outage. Adhere to all safety & environmental policies, rules, and regulations at all times.
