About The Position

Interfor is seeking a Maintenance Planner in Baxley, Georgia, to coordinate, schedule, and optimize maintenance activities that support efficient mill operations. The role works closely with skilled tradespeople and leadership to promote productivity, safety, and effective communication while minimizing operational interruptions. The Maintenance Planner manages CMMS/EAM systems and maintenance records, coordinates tools, materials, and contractors, and develops job scopes, estimates, and schedules. The role also analyzes performance and maintenance data to improve efficiency, achieve cost savings, and support compliance.

Requirements

Post-secondary technical degree or trade certification.
3–5 years of relevant maintenance planning experience.
Understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance processes.
Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Detail-focused, results-driven approach and ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Analytical, tactical, and strategic thinking skills for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of maintenance practices.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS/EAM systems.
