About The Position

CSL Seqirus is a global leader in influenza prevention and pandemic preparedness. We are seeking a Maintenance Planner to provide expert, strategic legal support across our operations, commercial activities, and critical regional initiatives. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team. You will take ownership for generating accurate work orders and detailed job plans to support efficient maintenance execution. You will also provide planning and coordination support for major shutdown activities conducted in July and December each year. This is a permanent full-time role based at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Tullamarine, Melbourne and is an onsite role, 5 days per week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferable), Project Management, or relevant Science degree
  • 2+ years maintenance planning experience in a relevant manufacturing industry (pharmaceutical advantageous)
  • SAP experience in a maintenance environment, would be advantageous
  • Strong stakeholder engagement experience - internal and external stakeholders
  • Good interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build rapport to influence decisions
  • Action and outcomes-oriented mindset
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability and can work with agility
  • Highly organised with time management and prioritizing skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset - systems and processes

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the service/maintenance of equipment program at a manufacturing facility
  • Ensures facility instrumentation is calibrated properly and on schedule to comply with good Calibration/Metrology guidelines
  • Identifies ways to improve the efficiency of the calibration procedures, follows current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
  • Writes Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); manages multiple contracts with external vendors performing calibrations
  • Generate work orders and job plans
  • Support the planning and coordination of shutdown work in July and December each year
  • Administrative support
