About The Position

SIRIO is a leading global nutraceutical solution provider with extensive expertise in an array of delivery formats. As a Maintenance Planner, your role will consist of developing maintenance plans and schedules based on recurring preventive maintenance activities, predictive maintenance data and KPIs. Key activities for this position include screening and developing work orders, auditing equipment to document work requirements and quality, estimate labor hours, materials, tools, and equipment for all assigned work orders to support a proactive, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) program. This role will work closely with Maintenance management, Maintenance Technicians, Control Systems Technicians and Operations teams to plan, coordinate, and schedule proactive maintenance activities during available downtime windows. This will help prevent unplanned downtime of material handling equipment and disruption to production activities. The Reliability Maintenance Planner/Scheduler will have a strong focus on Best Formulations leadership principles of Innovation, Bias for Action and Ownership of their maintenance program. Also will ensure the Company remains in compliance with all regulatory agencies (FDA, USDA, ec.) with regard to Sanitation, as well as being responsablefor maintaining all sanitation, HACCP, cGMP and Pest Control programs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED Certificate
  • Two (2) or more years of work experience in a fast-paced work environment, or Any combination of experience, education, and training that provides the level of knowledge, skills, and experience needed to successfully perform the job.
  • Knowledge of CMMS use (preferably RedZone)
  • Proficient skills in reading, writing, and speaking in English

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (Mandarin/Spanish) skills a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develops maintenance plans and schedules based on recurring preventive maintenance activities, predictive maintenance data and KPIs.
  • Screens and develops work orders.

  • Works closely with Maintenance management, Maintenance Technicians, Control Systems Technicians and Operations teams to plan, coordinate, and schedule proactive maintenance activities during available downtime windows.
  • Helps prevent unplanned downtime of material handling equipment and disruption to production activities.
  • Ensures the Company remains in compliance with all regulatory agencies (FDA, USDA, ec.) with regard to Sanitation.
  • Maintains all sanitation, HACCP, cGMP and Pest Control programs.
  • Follows established department SOP's, cGMP regulations, and batch record instructions.
  • Complies with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.
  • Maintains a safe work environment and operates in a safe manner.
  • Performs other job duties related to the job, as assigned by management.
  • Ensures the plant is in proper sanitary conditions at all times, including allergen and pest control programs.
  • Provides support for Sanitation staff.
  • Ensures compliance with food safety policies and procedures.
  • Evaluates sanitary facility conditions visually and analytically, assesses risk based on food safety and public health principles and prioritizes corrective actions.
