About The Position

Join Ingredion as a Maintenance Planner where you will drive operational reliability by strategically planning and scheduling maintenance activities that balance safety, cost, and performance. This role plays a critical part in ensuring plant efficiency, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement across operations. As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities for assigned units within the plant. This role ensures that maintenance work is executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with production goals, while leveraging systems like SAP and working closely with engineering, operations, and procurement teams. This role reports to the Planning and Control Manager.

Requirements

  • Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in a manufacturing environment (e.g., food, pharma, refinery).
  • Familiarity with SAP, Prometheus, or similar maintenance systems.
  • Experience using KPIs for performance tracking and decision-making.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate across functions.
  • Effective communication at all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Microsoft tools (e.g., MS Project) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including defining scope, safety requirements, materials, labor, and timelines.
  • Manage the full maintenance planning process, including work orders, backlog prioritization, and scheduling.
  • Coordinate with operations and engineering to align maintenance plans with production and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and manage spare parts, Bills of Material (BOMs), and requisitions within SAP systems.
  • Facilitate planning and scheduling meetings and provide reporting on maintenance activities.
  • Create and improve job plans, ensuring standardization and continuous improvement through feedback and RCPE participation.
  • Support budgeting activities and act as backup to the Maintenance Manager when needed.
