About The Position

The Maintenance Planner plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment within the industrial environment. This role requires proficiency in the SAP system, Microsoft Office applications, and effective communication with production teams to optimize machinery uptime and minimize downtime. The planner is responsible for planning and scheduling preventative maintenance tasks, adhering to Pratt & Whitney Procedure MC&O 5.2.5.3 guidelines.

Requirements

HS Diploma or GED
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

Proven experience as a maintenance planner or similar role in an industrial environment.
In-depth knowledge of maintenance planning principles, PM frequencies, and scheduling methodologies.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules for machinery and equipment based on Pratt & Whitney Procedure MC&O 5.2.5.3 guidelines and industry best practices.
Collaborate with production teams to establish and conduct daily walkarounds for production areas, identifying maintenance needs and addressing issues promptly.
Work closely with production teams to establish and coordinate scheduled downtime for machinery and equipment maintenance, minimizing disruption to production schedules.
Understand the priority of machines and equipment based on operational needs and production schedules, ensuring critical maintenance tasks are addressed promptly.
Regularly inspect machinery and equipment to identify potential issues, assess performance, and determine maintenance needs.
Perform root cause analysis for equipment failures and breakdowns to identify underlying issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
