You’ll play a vital role in our (department) team by developing and managing maintenance schedules for down days, outages, and routine tasks. This includes coordinating predictive and preventive maintenance activities, and planning and coordinating maintenance jobs and projects in collaboration with production and maintenance teams. You will monitor SAP and CMMS systems to ensure accurate tracking of work orders, technician workload, and equipment trends. You will be accountable for spare parts management, including kit building, warehousing, and satellite storage. You will also requisition materials and advise inventory control on requirements and usage, and maintain equipment information and repair files. Additionally, you will maintain CMMS documentation including drawings, lockout/tagout procedures, spare parts codes, and critical tasks. You will generate and analyze reports (e.g., cost, delay, monthly performance), review daily equipment inspections and ensure follow-up work orders are created and completed. You will serve as a technical resource for maintenance supervisors, assist in hiring, counseling, disciplining, and terminating employees when appropriate, and support the development of reliability-based maintenance strategies. You will also assist in workload and schedule planning for technicians, coordinate with external contractors to supplement workforce as needed, and inspect contractor work to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. You will interact professionally with vendors and maintain effective working relationships, maintain the maintenance budget and track expenditures, ensure 5S compliance and environmental/safety recordkeeping, and participate in safety, health, and environmental programs.
