About The Position

Home Run Inn Pizza is looking for a reliable and experienced Industrial Maintenance Parts Coordinator to join our Maintenance Team at our Frozen Pizza Factory in Woodridge, IL! This role is responsible for managing the procurement, inventory, and distribution of maintenance parts and supplies. The ideal candidate will have strong purchasing and negotiation skills, along with technical knowledge to accurately identify parts and support maintenance operations, ensuring parts availability to minimize downtime and maintain efficient operations.

Requirements

  • Purchasing & procurement experience
  • 3+ years experience with technical parts identification
  • 3+ years of Inventory management
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components
  • Ability to read and interpret manuals, drawings, and specifications
  • Understanding of OEM vs. aftermarket parts decision-making
  • Strong Communication and coordination skills
  • Strong Attention to detail experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage the purchasing of maintenance parts, tools, and supplies to support daily operations
  • Identify and source parts based on technical specifications, equipment manuals, and maintenance team requirements
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, including tracking, ordering, and organizing stock
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings
  • Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams to forecast parts needs
  • Ensure timely delivery of parts to avoid equipment downtime
  • Maintain records of purchases, inventory usage, and supplier performance
  • Assist in evaluating new suppliers and alternative parts for cost and efficiency improvements
  • Support preventive maintenance programs by ensuring required parts are available
  • Organize and maintain the parts room using 5S principles
  • Receiving, labeling, and staging of parts
  • Perform cycle counting and inventory audits
  • Maintain standardized storage practices
  • Monitor and improve inventory accuracy
  • Reduce stockout frequency through effective inventory management
  • Identify cost savings opportunities and vendor improvements
  • Support PM readiness and maintenance planning
