Dakota City Maintenance Painter
About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance and Painting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the upkeep and appearance of our facilities. Your primary duties will include preparing surfaces and applying paint to various areas within the facility to maintain a clean and professional appearance, managing the inventory of paint and related supplies, and performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks. You will oversee the maintenance and painting of specific areas including the Harvest floor, rendering areas, plant areas, and the outside parking lot on the Harvest side. Be prepared to work in varying temperatures, both hot and cold, as required by different areas of the facility.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 1 year mechanic work experience documented in the work history section of application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work in different environmental conditions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as part of your daily responsibilities.
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities
