About The Position
The duties of this Outside Technician position include, but are not limited to, the outside maintenance of assigned schools. This will include the school’s maintenance, upkeep and quality control of playgrounds, plant beds, trees, shrubs, parking lots, snow removal equipment, snow removal and seasonal cleanup of the outsides of the building as required.
Requirements
- Mechanically inclined to operate and maintain Zero-Turn mower, Backhoe, Bobcat, Snowplow, and hand tools as required.
- Current Missouri State driver's license required.
- Ability to acquire a chemical application license.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and care for all school grounds for assigned schools.
- Maintain and proper upkeep of all work equipment and scheduled PM's.
- Maintain necessary supplies needed to maintain buildings, grounds and equipment.
- Note and schedule any repairs as needed with Outside Maintenance Technician Lead.
- Schedule seasonal tasks as needed to maintain building's exterior buildings, lots, playgrounds, and equipment.
- BMP maintenance and servicing.
- Complete and/or enter work orders as needed when assigned.
