About The Position

This role involves general maintenance of buildings, grounds, equipment, and facilities across Sport and Recreation Centres. The Maintenance Officer will assist with setting up venues and programs, and collaborate with staff and contractors to support daily operations. It is a hands-on position suitable for individuals who enjoy practical work, problem-solving, and teamwork, with varied daily tasks contributing to positive guest experiences.

Requirements

• Current Class C driver licence
• Obtain and maintain a Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012
• Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment medical assessment prior to commencing duty and a hearing test (audiometric test) within 3 months of starting employment (baseline test) and a follow-up Hearing test at least every 2 years.
• Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident or hold a valid Australian working Visa for the duration of the appointment.
• Satisfactory National Police Check
• Pre-Employment Health Assessment
